Warranty

Staccato warrants that Staccato built firearms are originally manufactured free of defects in material, workmanship and mechanical function.

1. Lifetime Warranty — Core Coverage and Transferability

Subject to all terms, conditions, exclusions, warranty voids and limitations outlined below, Staccato 2011, LLC (“Staccato”) provides this limited lifetime warranty for each eligible Staccato-branded firearm for the lifetime of the eligible firearm. Covered conditions include issues involving the firearm’s materials, workmanship, mechanical function, accuracy, or factory preparation or application, as described below.

Effective August 21, 2026, this limited lifetime warranty follows each eligible Staccato-branded firearm for its lifetime, regardless of where it was purchased or how many owners it has had. Coverage is not limited to the original purchaser. For a covered condition, Staccato may, at its sole option, repair, adjust, or replace the affected firearm or component using the same or comparable Staccato factory component, or replace the firearm, subject in all cases to inspection, verification, applicable exclusions and Staccato’s final coverage determination.

Covered conditions include the following, provided no exclusion, warranty void, or other limitation applies. A customer is not required to establish the underlying cause of a listed condition as a prerequisite to warranty service:

  • Issues affecting function or accuracy.
  • Cracked frames, slides, or barrels.
  • Broken thumb safeties, grip safeties, slide stops, ejectors, extractors, or grips.
  • Coating delamination, other than normal coating wear caused by holster contact or hard use.
  • Factory blending reasonably required to correct contact hot spots associated with original factory fit or finish.

Coverage does not extend to normal wear, misuse, abuse, unauthorized repair or alteration, damage, malfunction, or failure caused or contributed to by aftermarket parts, improper ammunition or non-approved remanufactured/reloaded/handloaded ammunition, inadequate maintenance, or any other condition excluded by this warranty or the Staccato Warranty Voids and Limitations listed in the Staccato Warranty Voids.

Normal wear items are not covered, including springs, magazine followers, and normal coating wear caused by holster contact or hard use. Damage, malfunction, or failure caused or contributed to by aftermarket parts is excluded. All Warranty Voids and Limitations remain fully applicable except for the narrow Staccato Ammunition clarification expressly stated below.

Staccato may, in its discretion, offer repair of a non-covered condition for a fee. When Staccato replaces components in connection with a warranty or paid repair, Staccato may require the use of Staccato factory components. A paid repair does not create, reinstate, or extend warranty coverage for an otherwise excluded condition.

All warranty claims are subject to Staccato’s inspection, testing, verification, and final coverage determination. The customer bears responsibility for providing information reasonably requested by Staccato to evaluate the claim.

2. Eligible Firearms

This limited lifetime warranty applies only to eligible firearms sold under the Staccato brand.

The single-stack Staccato C and the original 4.15-inch Staccato P are included because those firearms were released as Staccato models.

Legacy STI-branded firearms are not covered by this limited lifetime warranty.

Although legacy STI-branded firearms are not covered by this limited lifetime warranty, Staccato will make reasonable efforts to inspect and service them at a fair and reasonable rate when parts, service capability, firearm condition, and safety considerations permit. Any STI service is paid service, is subject to Staccato’s then-current service policies and quoted charges, and does not create, reinstate, or extend warranty coverage.

Eligibility follows the firearm, but coverage remains subject to its condition, history, configuration, applicable warranty voids and exclusions, and Staccato’s inspection and final coverage determination.

3. Registration / Transfer Administration

Pistols purchased directly from Staccato after January 1, 2024 continue to be activated automatically upon shipment. Other owners may activate or register an eligible firearm through Staccato’s warranty registration process.

Customers who have already registered an eligible firearm with Staccato do not need to update their registration solely because of this warranty expansion; the updated transfer terms take effect August 21, 2026 for existing eligible registrations.

A customer who acquires a pre-owned eligible Staccato must re-register the firearm in the customer’s name at https://staccato2011.com/activate-warranty before a warranty claim can be processed.

Registration or re-registration documents the current owner for claim administration only. It does not waive, modify, or expand any warranty exclusion, void, limitation, inspection requirement, remedy limitation, or Staccato’s final coverage determination.

Existing Staccato 368 enrollment, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, communications-consent and dispute provisions should remain unchanged unless separately approved.

4. Law-Enforcement Duty-Sidearm Priority

As a customer-service priority, Staccato will use reasonable efforts to prioritize warranty claims involving a law-enforcement officer who carries the affected Staccato as an issued or authorized duty sidearm, including same-day intake or handling when operationally possible.

This priority is a service objective only; it is not a guarantee of same-day repair, completion, shipment, or return, and it does not alter or expand warranty coverage.

5. Return Procedure / Existing Legal Protections

The existing return, inspection, test-fire, inability-to-duplicate, customer-charge, shipping and packaging procedures remain unchanged except that claim evaluation should expressly apply the eligibility, exclusions, inspection rights and final-coverage language above.

Nothing in this expansion limits Staccato’s existing exclusive-remedy provisions, limitations of liability, governing-law/forum provisions, claim deadlines, product-documentation limitations, or reservation of rights to modify the limited warranty, except to the extent those provisions are expressly revised in this redline.

6. Warranty Voids — Remanufactured / Reloaded Ammunition Clarification

This limited warranty is void if any of the following occur:

 1) The firearm has been used for firing remanufactured, reloaded, or handloaded ammunition, or ammunition that does not meet applicable SAAMI, CIP, or NATO standards; provided, however, that use of Staccato Ammunition remanufactured ammunition sold by Staccato Ammunition, Staccato 2011, or an authorized Staccato sales channel, and expressly intended for the applicable firearm and caliber, will not by itself void this limited warranty solely because the ammunition is remanufactured. This exception applies only to the source/type-based warranty void and does not create or expand any warranty on ammunition or on the firearm.

 2) The firearm has been fired with handloaded, reloaded, or otherwise improper ammunition. Qualifying Staccato Ammunition remanufactured ammunition is not treated as prohibited remanufactured or reloaded ammunition solely because it is remanufactured. However, Staccato may deny or limit a firearm warranty claim to the extent Staccato determines, following inspection and testing, that the claimed damage, malfunction, excessive-pressure event, unsafe condition, or other failure was caused or contributed to by ammunition or another excluded condition. This excludes Open guns manufactured specifically for major power factor ammunition; however, damage directly related to overcharged, double-charged, or otherwise unsafe ammunition may affect warranty coverage.

For clarity, the Staccato Ammunition exception above is limited to qualifying remanufactured ammunition expressly sold or approved by Staccato for the applicable firearm and caliber. It does not apply to third-party remanufactured, reloaded, or handloaded ammunition; does not waive any separate ammunition recall, warning, limitation, or remedy; and does not make ammunition an accessory or component covered by this firearm warranty. All claims remain subject to causation, inspection, testing, verification, and Staccato’s final coverage determination.
